Decided to get the F3000 and 3X BP3000 batteries for 12KW to get through power outages more conveniently and with less stress. Offgrid was great to work with. Just a week after getting the F3000 the power went out. I am able to easily run my essential loads, including sump pumps, HVAC blower, on-demand hot water heater, refrigerator, freezer, toaster oven, portable induction cooktop, mini-microwave, coffee maker, and of course, my milk frother (LOL!). My wife also ran her hair dryer and a floor fan. I could run essentials for 48 hours with this setup with nothing more than an extension cord, so no stress, since most power outages are under 12 hours around here (Cleveland area). I also have a Honda EU3200i generator (fantastic, BTW), so now I just pull it out only to recharge the F3000 after 24 hours via rapid charging. I did get the generator cable, but my Honda only puts out max 2,600 watts, but I could recharge the entire stack with just over a gallon of fuel, which is amazing. Pass-through charging is just awesome, so no break in power output to essential loads. I keep 7 gallons of ethanol-free fuel and Tru-Fuel on hand at all times, so I could easily go for 2 - 4 weeks, which is pretty amazing. The App works great and provides useful information. I might end up getting a transfer switch sub-panel, but that is probably overkill and complicated since my panel has many multi-wire circuits. I will also get the 800W alternator charger and mount it on my garage wall, with quick disconnects to my truck, so I could recharge that way. I also put the refrigerator on a dedicated Anker S2000 built into the cabinet above the refrigerator, so I donβt have to lift a finger for at least 12 hours nor worry if we are not home for the day. I keep the sumps and freezer plugged into the F3000 all the time. This setup was worth every penny for ease and peace of mind without getting wrapped up in the expense and noise of a whole-house generator. I wish they had these when we RVed years ago. Iβm a retired aerospace engineer and I am very impressed with the F3000. If it satisfies your use case, just buy it. The picture is the F3000 in actual use during a power outage!
