While shopping at Off Grid Stores just know that returns are a breeze! If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to us within 30 Days from the delivery date for a refund.
To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be unused and in the same condition as when you received them. This includes having all the original contents and being returned in the original packaging, with no signs of use, wear, or damage.
Returns
Damages and Issues:
Please inspect your order as soon as possible upon delivery. If you find any issues with your order, such as defects, damage, missing parts, or receiving the wrong item, please contact us promptly. This will allow us to assess the situation and work toward a solution. Many times we can fix the issue without the item needing to be returned.
Exceptions / Non-returnable Items:
Certain types of items cannot be returned, including open food products such as dehydrated or freeze-dried foods. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns about your specific item.
Time Frame Allotted:
Customers can open a return 30 days from the date of delivery for most items. If, in the case, the item has a different return policy it will be clearly stated in the "Returns and Refunds" tab in the description of the item for further clarity.
Return Process:
To return an item, you can contact us either through our Contact Us page or by emailing us at support@offgridstores.com.
Please include the following information: Your Order #, the item(s) you would like to return, and the reason for your return.
Once the situation is assessed, we will either send you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) along with the return address, or a Prepaid Shipping Label, depending on the reason for your return.
Please note that you will be responsible for all return shipping charges in cases of buyer's remorse. We define buyer's remorse as an order returned due to the customer changing their mind, not liking the item (when there is nothing physically wrong with it), the item not fitting (despite proper measurements being provided), finding a better price elsewhere, ordering the wrong item, or mistakenly placing the order.
For non-buyer’s remorse returns, shipping will be paid for by us. These include items that arrived damaged, items that don't work or are defective, items that don't match description or photos, items missing parts and pieces, items that don't seem authentic, or when the wrong item is sent.
Exchanges:
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item or items, we will then process your refund for your return. Please allow up to 3 business days for us to process your refund. After processing, it could take up to 5 business days for the refund to appear on your credit card statement. We will always notify you by email when your return has been fully processed. If you do not see the refund from us in the allotted timeframe please reach out to your credit card company.
Restocking Fees:
For returns of "buyer's remorse" (defined above), there will be an up to 25% restocking fee depending on the brand/manufacturer of the item and the item's size.
Cancellations:
Please note that we have a 1-hour cancellation policy for all orders. If a request to cancel an order or an item within an order is made more than 1 hour after the order was placed, we will make every effort to accommodate the cancellation. However, if we are able to successfully cancel the order, you may be charged up to 4% in fees to cover the credit card processing fees we incur. These fees are necessary to make up for the costs associated with processing the payment and any transaction fees already incurred.
