Returns & Refunds

While shopping at Off Grid Stores, know that returns are a breeze! If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to us within 30 Days from the delivery date for a refund.

To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be unused and in the same condition as when you received them. This includes having all the original contents and being returned in the original packaging, with no signs of use, wear, or damage.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order as soon as possible upon delivery. If you find any issues with your order, such as defects, damage, missing parts, or receiving the wrong item, please contact us promptly at support@offgridstores.com so we can assess the situation and work toward a solution.

Please include your order number along with any photos or videos showing the issue.

Do not discard the item, any included parts, or the original packaging unless Off Grid Stores specifically instructs you to do so in writing.

Even if an item arrives damaged or appears unusable, Off Grid Stores may still require the item to be returned for inspection, claim processing, replacement, or refund eligibility. In those cases, Off Grid Stores will cover the return shipping and provide return instructions as needed.

If an item is discarded, disposed of, abandoned, or otherwise made unavailable before the review or return process is completed, Off Grid Stores reserves the right to deny or limit any refund, replacement, or other resolution.

Exceptions / Non-returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, including open food products such as dehydrated or freeze-dried foods. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns about your specific item.

Time Frame Allotted

Customers can open a return 30 days from the date of delivery for most items. If, in the case, the item has a different return policy it will be clearly stated in the "Returns and Refunds" tab in the description of the item for further clarity.

Return Process

To return an item, you can contact us either through our Contact Us page or by emailing us at support@offgridstores.com.

Please include your order number, the item or items you would like to return, and the reason for the return.

Once the situation is assessed, we will either send you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) along with the return address, or a prepaid shipping label, depending on the reason for the return.

You will be responsible for all return shipping charges in cases of buyer’s remorse. Buyer’s remorse includes returns requested because the customer changed their mind, did not like the item when there is nothing physically wrong with it, found a better price elsewhere, ordered the wrong item, accidentally placed the order, or the item did not fit despite proper measurements being provided.

For returns that are not due to buyer’s remorse, return shipping will be covered by Off Grid Stores. These include items that arrive damaged, defective, missing parts, not as described, not authentic, or if the wrong item was sent.

Please note that even if an item arrives damaged, defective, or appears unusable, it may still need to be preserved and returned as part of the inspection, claims, replacement, or refund process. Do not discard the item unless Off Grid Stores specifically instructs you to do so in writing.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds:

After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your item or items, we will then process your refund for your return. Please allow up to 3 business days for us to process your refund. After processing, it could take up to 5 business days for the refund to appear on your credit card statement. We will always notify you by email when your return has been fully processed. If you do not see the refund from us in the allotted timeframe please reach out to your credit card company.

Restocking Fees

For returns due to buyer’s remorse, a restocking fee of up to 20% may apply. Restocking fees vary by brand, manufacturer, item size, and supplier return policy, and not all items or brands will be subject to a restocking fee.

Cancellations

Please note that we have a 1-hour cancellation policy for all orders. If a request to cancel an order or an item within an order is made more than 1 hour after the order was placed, we will make every effort to accommodate the cancellation. However, if we are able to successfully cancel the order, you may be charged up to 4% in fees to cover the credit card processing fees we incur. These fees are necessary to make up for the costs associated with processing the payment and any transaction fees already incurred.
