Product Highlights
36V 100Ah Heated Bluetooth LiFePO4 (3.84kWh): A 38.4V nominal, 100Ah deep-cycle battery with 3.84kWh (3,840Wh) of nominal stored energy for 36V trolling motors and other 36V deep-cycle systems. It is not a drop-in replacement for every lead-acid or AGM installation: check tray fitment, terminal clearance, cable size, overcurrent protection and charger profile first.
Replaces a Three-Battery 12V Bank: One 38.4V battery can replace a three-battery 12V lead-acid trolling-motor bank with far less weight, in a 75 lb (34.0kg) case measuring 20 × 10.25 × 11 in.
High-Performance Output: 120A maximum continuous discharge (50A recommended) and a 200A peak for up to 60 seconds. Size loads, conductors and overcurrent protection to the 120A continuous rating. Deep-cycle only: not for engine cranking, outboard starting or golf carts.
100A Charging: 100A maximum continuous charge current (50A recommended, 150A peak for up to 10 seconds) and a 43.8V maximum charge voltage. Use a LiFePO4 charge profile, such as the Epoch 36V 15A LiFePO4 charger; for alternator charging, a DC-to-DC charger is highly recommended.
Heated for Cold-Weather Charging: Rated to charge from -20°C to 55°C (-4°F to 131°F) with internal heating. In cold weather the internal heater warms the cells before charging begins, and the BMS's low-temperature charge protection lets the cells charge only from 0°C to 55°C (32°F to 131°F).
Smart Bluetooth Monitoring: The free Epoch Li-Ion app (iOS and Android) shows state of charge, voltage, current, temperature, cycle data and battery status. The included 10-segment battery meter shows the remaining charge in 10% steps and sounds an alarm at 10%, and a power button on the lid switches the battery on and off.
Advanced BMS Protection: Protects against overcharge, over-discharge, over-current, short circuit, and high and low temperature. It does not replace an external fuse or DC-rated breaker for the wiring.
IP67 Waterproof Enclosure: Dust-tight and protected against temporary immersion to 1m for 30 minutes, for trolling-motor compartments, fishing boats and other wet marine locations. Not rated for water jets, pressure washing or long-term submersion.
Parallel Expansion: Up to 4 matched B36100A-A batteries in parallel (400Ah, 15.36kWh) for longer runtime. Do not connect in series.
3,500+ Cycle Life & Low Maintenance: No watering or acid service; routine inspections keep it operating safely.
11-Year Limited Warranty: 3 years of free replacement, then 40% off MSRP on a replacement battery through Year 11. Register within 90 days or keep your proof of purchase to confirm your coverage start date.

Drop the Weight: Replace Three Heavy 12V Batteries
One 38.4V LiFePO4 battery can replace a three-battery 12V lead-acid trolling motor bank, with far less weight.
Swapping a daisy-chain of three 12V lead-acid batteries for one 36V 100Ah marine lithium battery simplifies your boat’s electrical layout, opens up valuable compartment space, and removes substantial weight from the hull. That means less clutter, fewer interconnect cables, and a cleaner installation for modern fishing boats.
This battery measures 20 in L × 10.25 in W × 11 in H (508 × 260.4 × 279.4 mm) and weighs about 75 lb (34.0 kg). It is not a drop-in replacement for every lead-acid or AGM installation: before installation, confirm your tray space, hold-down system, cable size and routing, terminal clearance, overcurrent protection, charger profile, and trolling motor manufacturer requirements.
Power Your 36V Trolling Motor
3.84kWh lithium storage for Minn Kota, Garmin, Lowrance, and other compatible 36V trolling motor systems.
With 100Ah of capacity, 3.84kWh of nominal stored energy, and 120A continuous discharge (200A for up to 60 seconds), this 36V deep cycle lithium battery is built for anglers who spend long days on the water. LiFePO4 voltage stays nearly flat across most of the discharge, so your trolling motor sees steady voltage through most of the battery’s usable capacity. For planning, Epoch uses 80% of nominal energy, about 3,072Wh (80Ah): roughly 8 hours at a 10A load or 6.1 hours at 500W.
Use it with compatible 36V trolling motors from brands such as Minn Kota, Garmin, and Lowrance when voltage, current draw, fuse protection, charger profile, and manufacturer battery requirements match. For extended runtime, matched batteries may be wired in parallel up to Epoch’s stated limit of four batteries.
Built-in heating for all-season fishing
A heated marine lithium battery for cold-weather charging support.
In cold weather, the internal heater warms the cells before charging begins, and the BMS’s low-temperature charge protection allows charging only within the cells’ 0°C to 55°C (32°F to 131°F) range, so the battery is rated to charge from -20°C to 55°C (-4°F to 131°F) with heating. While the cells warm, the app may show little or no charge current; leave the charger connected and switched on.
IP67 waterproof and rugged marine construction
Dust-tight and rated for temporary immersion.
The IP67 waterproof enclosure is dust-tight and protected against temporary immersion up to 1 meter for 30 minutes, which suits trolling motor compartments, fishing boats, and other wet marine locations. It is not rated for water jets, pressure washing, or long-term submersion: mount it securely and not where water can pool around the battery.
Smart Bluetooth app monitoring
A Bluetooth trolling motor battery monitor in your pocket.
Built-in Bluetooth connects to the free Epoch Li-Ion app for iOS and Android, so you can check state of charge, voltage, current, temperature, cycle data, and battery status from your smartphone. The app’s state of charge is a calculated estimate; the included 10-segment battery meter shows the remaining charge in 10% steps and sounds an alarm at 10%.

Why upgrade to Epoch LiFePO4?
More usable energy. Less maintenance. More confidence on the water.
LiFePO4 technology provides stable voltage output, fast charging capability, long service life, and maintenance-free operation. Compared with traditional lead-acid trolling motor banks, this lightweight 36V battery simplifies installation while delivering efficient usable energy, smart monitoring, and rugged marine protection.
Fitment and charging note
Verify your boat, charger, and trolling motor before installation.
Always confirm compartment dimensions, cable clearance, M8 terminal compatibility, charger compatibility, fuse sizing, trolling motor current requirements, and manufacturer guidance before installation. Install the main fuse or DC-rated breaker as close as practical to the battery positive terminal, and secure the battery upright with a tray, strap, or bracket rated for its 75 lb weight. Use a lithium-compatible 36V charger or programmable charging system set to Epoch’s recommended parameters. For parallel banks of up to four, use matched B36100A-A batteries of similar age, condition, and firmware, each fully charged and at the same state of charge before connecting.
It depends on how much power your motor draws. For planning, Epoch uses 80% of nominal energy: about 3,072Wh (80Ah) per battery. That works out to roughly 8 hours at a 10A load, 12.3 hours at 250W, or 6.1 hours at 500W (runtime ≈ usable Wh ÷ load W, or usable Ah ÷ load A). Real runtime varies with thrust setting, boat weight, wind, current, temperature, battery age, and duty cycle. For longer runtime, up to four matched batteries can run in parallel.
No. This is a 36V lithium battery, so it must be charged with a 36V LiFePO4 charger or a programmable charger set to Epoch’s LiFePO4 settings. A 12V charger, or a lead-acid, AGM, or gel charger, cannot charge this battery correctly. Epoch’s 36V 15A LiFePO4 charger (CHG-36V15A) is the recommended charger; it charges a fully discharged battery in roughly 6.7–7 hours, plus taper and balancing time.
One battery replaces a three-battery 12V lead-acid bank, but you should measure your compartment before ordering. The case measures 20 in L × 10.25 in W × 11 in H (508 × 260.4 × 279.4 mm) and weighs about 75 lb (34.0 kg). It is not a drop-in replacement for every lead-acid or AGM installation: confirm tray space, hold-down straps, terminal clearance, cable size and routing, overcurrent protection, and charger compatibility before installation.
Yes, in parallel. Up to four matched B36100A-A batteries can be wired in parallel: two make a 36V 200Ah (7.68kWh) bank and four a 400Ah (15.36kWh) bank. Use batteries of similar age, condition, and firmware, charge each one fully before connecting, keep the cables equal in length and gauge, and fuse each battery branch. Do not wire this model in series.
Yes, in compatible 36V systems one 38.4V battery can replace a traditional bank of three 12V lead-acid trolling motor batteries. It simplifies wiring, frees up compartment space, and significantly reduces boat weight. It is not a drop-in replacement for every installation, so always confirm your trolling motor voltage, charger profile, cable size, fuse protection, and manufacturer requirements before replacing an existing bank.
This battery is designed for compatible 36V trolling motor systems, including many setups using Minn Kota, Garmin, Lowrance, and other major marine trolling motor brands. Confirm that your motor is a 36V model and that its current draw, wiring, fuse protection, and manufacturer battery requirements match before installation.
Yes. This model has an IP67 waterproof enclosure: dust-tight and protected against temporary immersion up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. It is not rated for water jets, pressure washing, or long-term submersion, so install it in a secure battery compartment where water cannot pool around the case.
Yes. Built-in Bluetooth connects to the free Epoch Li-Ion app so you can view state of charge, voltage, current, temperature, cycle data, and battery status on an iOS or Android device. The app’s state of charge is a calculated estimate, so check voltage, current, and any alarms along with it. The included 10-segment battery meter also shows the remaining charge in 10% steps.
In cold weather, the internal heater warms the cells before charging begins. The BMS checks cell temperature and allows charging only within the cells’ 0°C to 55°C (32°F to 131°F) range, so the battery is rated to charge from -20°C to 55°C (-4°F to 131°F) with heating. While the cells warm, the app may show little or no charge current. This can be normal: leave the charger connected and switched on, and allow more time in colder conditions.
No. This is a 36V deep cycle marine battery for trolling motor and compatible 36V power applications. It is not designed for engine cranking, outboard starting, or golf carts. Use a dedicated cranking-rated battery for engine starting applications.

Epoch Batteries 36V 100Ah (3.84kWh) LiFePO4 Lithium Battery User Manual
Very heavy for a 4D - suggests a lot of plates - more plates the better. Batteries were packaged in an original Renogy box which had foam damage protection. Batteries arrived promptly and are working well.
I have bought 10 sets of these. I used 2 sets to support 2-590watt bifacial and 1 460 watt panel. These are setup vertically. I have them running in serial for a total of of 4 sets. Two of them run to my Anker Solix F3800 plus which allow me to get almost the max of 3200watts. I have 2 F3800 plus with a total of 10 bp3800 batteries for a total of 46,080 wh of storage. I mounted them on 15' aluminum rails. I connected the rails to boards and mounted them with 5" caster wheels which allow me to easily move them to the direction of the sun. This allows me on most days to outproduce my 27 360watt solar panels on my roof. The other 2 sets I each have two 460 watts panels. 1 set I have running to 2 chest freezers and a fridge in the basement. I have 4,000 wh of battery storage. The other set mostly runs my PC gaming area. I have 6,000 wh battery storage.
I have a total of 3.5mwh of battery storage with my electric company.
