It is not a drop-in replacement for every lead-acid installation: check tray fit, terminal clearance, cable size, overcurrent protection and the charger profile first.
  • Compact & Mountable: 12.25 × 6.75 × 9 in (311 × 171 × 229 mm) and 30 lb (13.7kg), with M8 terminals torqued to 8-10 Nm (71-89 in-lb). Mount it upright, never on its side or upside down.

  • 60A Charging: 60A maximum continuous charge current from all sources combined (up to 30A recommended) at 28.4-28.8V bulk/absorption. Use a 24V LiFePO4 charger such as the Epoch 24V 15A Lithium Battery Charger, a solar controller with a LiFePO4 or programmable profile, or a DC-to-DC charger for alternator charging.
  • Internal Heating: In cold weather, a connected charger powers the internal heater, which warms the battery to 10°C (50°F) and then switches to charging, so it charges down to -20°C (-4°F). It discharges from -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F).
  • Bluetooth Monitoring: The free Epoch Pro app (iOS and Android) shows state of charge, voltage, current, temperature and battery status and alerts, sets up multi-battery networks and installs firmware updates over the air.
  • Victron-Compatible Communication: CAN/RS485 Link in and Link out ports network a parallel bank and support Victron-compatible communication; integration depends on the GX device, inverter charger, cable, firmware and configuration, so contact Epoch for setup support.

Use a lithium-compatible 24V charger, inverter charger, converter, solar charge controller, or DC-to-DC charger programmed within Epoch’s recommended charging parameters. For parallel battery banks, use matched batteries of the same model, age, capacity, and state of charge, fully charge each one before connecting it into the bank, match their voltages within 0.5V, and follow Epoch’s installation guidelines; series wiring is not approved. Mount the battery upright (never on its side or upside down), place a DC-rated main fuse or breaker as close as practical to the positive terminal, and torque the terminals to 8–10 N·m (71–89 in-lb).

End absorption when current falls to C/20 (3A) or after 15 minutes, whichever comes first.
