Rich Solar MEGA 150 Watt Monocrystalline Solar Panel

Ordered two 150 watt panels with hardware. They arrived on time. When I unpackaged the first panel, I thought, “wow, this is packaged really well”. But I spoke too soon. Upon taking the other panel out, I noticed it was shattered. Not the fault of the manufacturer or Off Grid, but rather a delivery problem. I notified customer service, sent pictures and in 3 days I had a new panel. They both were great and the hardware is solid. I would purchase again from Off Grid stores.

I purchased 3 panels and a charge controller from Off Grid Stores. The panels came in FedEx with no issues and I was very happy with the price and quality and how fast I got them. The problem arose with the charge controller. Basically there was an issue with delivery because the controller was sent USPS and did not come in with the FedEx delivery. When I contacted Off Grid customer service (CS), which by the way has excellent reviews, my experience was neither pleasant or productive. The CS guy seemed irritated with me because he seemed as confused about what happened to the charge controller as I was. I told him several times not to be irritated because it's neither of our faults. There was a third package with the FedEx delivered panels that was a Power Queen battery charger so I think when he looked at the delivery photo he thought it was the charge controller. Upon checking, the controller had been shipped out USPS to an undeliverable physical address so it was sent back. This has happened before so I always include both my PO box and physical address and the post office holds the package for me to come and get. At this point we were not getting anywhere so I asked if I could cancel the order and upgrade to a larger charge controller then he got even more irritated. I think he thought I was working a scam so I left it to him as to whether I would get credit for the controller. I told him I would just get the larger controller from someone else. Later that night I got an email stating that my account had been credited for the charge controller.

Would I recommend The Off Grid Stores to someone else? Absolutely as long as they reconfirm delivery arrangements. For me I won't be buying from them again because of bad experience with delivery. The physical address is a bank of about 20 mailboxes sitting out on a dirt road about a half mile away from anything... easy pickings for porch pirates. I have to be on lot for all deliveries which means taking a personal day from work.
