The Battery Tender® 400 Watt Power Inverter delivers 400 Watts of continuous 120V AC power from any 12V vehicle battery — more than three times the output of the 120 Watt model, with an LCD display showing real-time output load, battery voltage, and warning status. Two AC outlets, two USB ports, and dual connection options make it the most capable portable power inverter in the Battery Tender® lineup.

400 Watts Continuous — 800 Watts Peak

400 Watts of continuous AC output runs laptops, power tools, small kitchen appliances, fans, CPAP machines, and most portable electronics without issue. The 800 Watt peak surge capacity handles devices with high startup current demands — power tools, motors, and compressors that draw significantly more current during startup than during sustained operation.

LCD Display — Real-Time Power Status

The LCD screen provides live monitoring of three key metrics:

  • Output power consumption — percentage of available wattage currently in use
  • Vehicle battery voltage — real-time input voltage from the connected battery
  • Warning indicators — alerts for low input voltage, overload, or over-temperature conditions

The LCD display provides visibility into how much power is being drawn and how much battery capacity remains — preventing unexpected shutdowns during critical use.

Two AC Outlets and Two USB Ports

Dual AC outlets and dual 5V USB outputs charge and power up to four devices simultaneously from a single 12V battery connection.
