Connect Anker SOLIX Generator Input Adapter with Anker SOLIX F3800 Plus Portable Power Station via the Home Power Panel port. 3. Connect Anker SOLIX Generator Input Adapter with the generator via the NEMA L14-30P port. If the generator is 120V, you need to purchase a TT-30 to L14-30R adapter to connect with Anker SOLIX Generator Input Adapter. 4. Turn on the generator. The status indicator of Anker SOLIX Generator Input Adapter will be white under normal conditions. Once connected to a 240V generator, F3800 Plus recharges at 3,300W max. If F3800 Plus is connected to expansion batteries, recharging power increases to 6,000W max.

When using Anker SOLIX Generator Input Adapter with F3800 Plus for the first time, set the generator's running wattage and max recharging wattage in the Anker app. Otherwise, the generator will use default values to charge F3800 Plus. 4. Your generator can charge F3800 Plus while supplying power to the load. The maximum input of F3800 Plus varies by voltage: 3,000W (120V) or 6,000W (240V). 5. The maximum pass-through charging power from a generator is 6,000W.

Please follow the steps below. Note: Anker SOLIX Generator Input Adapter cannot be used while the grid is connected. If the adapter is used, the status indicator will be red. 1. Turn off your 240V generator and the circuit breaker that controls the Home Power Panel port connected to Anker SOLIX Generator Input Adapter. 2. Connect Anker SOLIX Generator Input Adapter to Home Power Panel via the Home Power Panel port. 3. Connect Anker SOLIX Generator Input Adapter to the generator via the NEMA L14-30P port. If the generator's output port is NEMA L14-50, purchase a NEMA L14-30R to L14-50P adapter. 4. Turn on the generator. The Anker SOLIX Generator Input Adapter status indicator should be white, indicating normal operation. When Anker SOLIX Home Power Panel is connected to F3800 Plus and 240V generator, excess generator power can charge F3800 Plus.

Please keep these notes in mind when using Anker SOLIX Generator Input Adapter. 1. Anker SOLIX Generator Input Adapter is only available for Anker SOLIX F3800 Plus Portable Power Station and Anker SOLIX Home Power Panel. Do not connect the adapter directly to the grid. 2. When Anker SOLIX Generator Input Adapter is connected to Anker SOLIX F3800 Plus Portable Power Station, the NEMA 5-20R AC output ports on F3800 Plus will be disabled. You can still use the L14-30R or TT-30R ports. 3. The applicable electrical frequency of the adapter is 60Hz and the electrical system is L1+L2+N+PE. Do not use an electrical system that does not meet the applicable conditions of this product. 4. Anker SOLIX Generator Input Adapter cannot be used while the grid is operating. If the adapter is used, the status indicator will display red.

Can I purchase a generator cable and connect it to F3800's Home Power Panel port? Will this cause damage?

No damage will occur. However, Anker SOLIX F3800's Home Power Panel port is not designed to be connected to a fuel generator. If connected, charging will not occur. We do not recommend purchasing a separate generator cable.

A firmware update is required before Anker SOLIX Generator Input Adapter can be used normally. Connect directly to F3800 Plus to update. If connected to Home Power Panel, disconnect and directly connect to F3800 Plus to update.
